Relish’s Exclusive Immersive Dining Experience: Once Upon a Time in Hong Kong - The Newest Pop-Up This September

Go down the rabbit hole and get ready for a feast for your senses with Relish’s newest exclusive pop-up event, Once Upon a Time in Hong Kong, hosted at Chef Republic. The fully immersive dining experience is set to open on September 1st, 2022 for three weekends (Thursday to Saturday).
Like nothing else the Relish team has done before, the eight-course fine dining spectacular will take you on a journey through the cultures and events that have impacted the flavours of Hong Kong. Every course is dedicated to a particular historical point in the city’s timeline and as guests transition between each plate, they explore and experience Hong Kong’s past, present, and future.
“Hong Kong is such an international city and there is a reason we hold this reputation. We’ve been influenced by so many different cultures throughout our history and I’m hoping to bring this story to light,” explains Devon Hou, Head Chef of Relish. “This degustation menu that I’ve created is something that really can only be done here in this city and because it’s Hong Kong.”
Coupled with wine pairings that not only promise to enhance the flavours in your palette but to bring their own anecdotes to the tale, the night is a time capsule just waiting to be opened.
In addition to the gastronomical marvel that will tell a story with each bite and sip, the evening will be filled with wondrous entertainment – a mystical spectacle for the eyes and ears… as well as a few more surprises to shock your senses!
“The team and I have been dreaming of creating this immersive event for two years now and have been hindered by COVID restrictions. Reflecting on Hong Kong's colourful history, especially as we are living through a historical moment, is the perfect journey to take our guests on while showcasing our talents as an event and catering company that has stood the test of time in this city that we love,” says Abby Cadman, Owner and Managing Director of Relish.
With the event being hosted at Chef Republic, spend the night surrounded by the glistening Victoria Harbour in this private intimate venue while the hustle and bustle of the city become the backdrop of our tale.
